So, today the day has arrived! Yes, the day that we all celebrate, some of us for family, and some of us for the excuse of gift giving. For me, it has a whole new meaning! To me, it is a day to remember the day the Lord came down in Human form, to save us from our sins. What a sacrifice, to come down from a beautiful home, where there was no wrong done, or no rebellions, or killing, to a world that is warped and so corrupt. Wow, that is so amazing that he actually want to come down from his beautiful home to save us, all. And to be born in the most humblest of places, a stable, where an animal ate. What a filthy place for a baby to be born, but that was what was available to them. The Greatest of Kings, born in the most humble of places! Wow, that is so awesome to think of it!
So if you haven’t seen the movie, ” The Nativity Story” you should. It discribes the manner of Jesus’s birth very well, and how real it all was. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
So, have a wonderful holiday, celebrating the birth of Jesus! And don’t forget why He came down, to be born!
